He spoke passionately about the importance of these online connections for personal and professional growth. Maja Wilson's book, Rethinking Rubrics in Writing Assessment has been discussed in the ning's book group. She spoke of her reasons for writing the book and why she has rejected rubrics in favour of commenting on student work.

Wesley Fryer Episode 10
Wesley Fryer joined us on this episode. Wes is an educator, author, digital storyteller and also serves as a co-convener for the annual K-12 Online Conference. His blog, "Moving at the Speed of Creativity" was selected as the 2006 "Best Learning Theory Blog" by eSchoolnews and Discovery Education and is the co-director of the statewide Celebrate Oklahoma Voices digital storytelling project.
